Analysis of Infidelity
Joe Strickland 1986 (Hobbysville, SC)
He recognized the game was fruitless
Yet despite the risk, he indulged in the forbidden,
Succumbing to the allure, he abandoned his resistance.
Now he seeks refuge in a humble plea.
Yearning for his supplication to soar above the rooftop.
Laced with deceit, he slumbers tonight
His infidelity veiled, concealed from his love's sight.
