Analysis of Sometimes

Sometimes I will procrastinate.
Avoidance at all cost.
It helps me to alleviate
Self-Doubt when hope is lost.

Sometimes I am engulfed by fear
Of failure and that you
Will turn away when I am near
Rejecting all I do.

Sometimes I guard my "Stephen Time";
Old habits I preserve
To help reduce the uphill climb
Or what I might deserve.

Sometimes my lazy ways help me,
Though "laziness" misleads.
Because my insecurity
Affects what might succeed.
