Analysis of Support One Another
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
In a transgression, one is caught,
You being spiritual must restore;
Through a prayer, the Lord must be sought,
Your gentleness will hold the cure.
Watch yourself not being tempted,
By the forces of the dark side;
Let not yourself be infected,
But fulfill the Law and abide.
If anyone thinks he is something,
In arrogance as one believes;
Rather he is truly nothing,
Only of himself, he deceives.
Of his own work performs a test,
Then his reason to boast alone;
If his neighbor is not impressed,
Of the achievements that are shown.
For each of us will have to bear,
His own load that he must carry;
But allow another to share,
So that no one becomes weary.
