Analysis of Seriously Thinking
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
As polls go taken,
From selected zip codes.
And we'll known demographics.
Who living to stay ignored.
Yet...
Depended upon to endorse and support.
Any political candidate running to win,
A seat in the government.
Just to represent the pleasing,
Of their own interests.
Year after year done to claim,
A faith they keep in believing...
The quality of life lived for all.
Has to change if those disenfranchised,
Pray everyday on knees.
Until their wishes and dreams become true.
And many do.
Complaining on a regular basis,
Of knee pains, back pains.
Medications taken to numb headaches.
With love, joy and forgiveness kept expressed,
In their forgiving hearts.
Blacks, Whites, Asians, Latinos.
And united out of closet freaks!
