Analysis of Just Because
You often see me smile a lot
But seldom does it mean
I'm happy with the life I got;
I seldom am serene.
I know I'm often silly when
We talk on our cell phone
It's just an act to hide again
The fear I've always known.
Anxiety will not release
My mind, but have its way
To suffocate attempts at peace,
Which leads my hope astray.
