Analysis of A Rememberance For Mr. Sprouse

We never expected it,
Not from you.
The laughter
That danced in your eyes,
And the comforting words
You would imbue.
Life seemed so gentle,
Devoid of disguise.

But like a shadow,
Darkness settled in.
Your smile no longer
Reached your soul.
Thoughts grew heavy,
As sadness did begin,
And inside you,
The tempest took its toll.

We missed the signs,
The buried cries,
Hidden beneath
Your brave façade.
How could we not see,
Through your disguise,
The despair that consumed you,
Storm-tossed and flawed?

The world is a little emptier now,
A void left
By your untimely departure.
In our hearts
The grief takes its bow,
Yet forever lingering,
A sorrow’s torture.

We wonder,
Was there something we could do,
To pull you back
From that perilous edge?
But the torment gnawed,
And trouble grew,
And now,
In our memories,
You silently pledge.

Life goes on,
As it always must.
Though the echoes
of your loss remain,
Yet we will carry
The weight of trust,
To cherish our loved ones,
Their pain sustained.

Mr. Sprouse,
If only we could rewind,
Rewrite this story
With brighter tones,
But, we’re left
With memories entwined,
And the chilling knowledge
That you were alone.

In eternity’s embrace,
May you find some peace,
Released from the anguish
That held you tight.
And in our hearts,
May your spirit never cease,
A reminder to cherish,
To hold on,
To fight.
