Analysis of Slowly, Slower, Slow

I slowly tried, then verified
What I thought might be true.
Anxiety grows and sometimes flows
And stains social things I do.

Then slower I went and tried to invent
A different way to respond
To how I react, much more than a fact
Of faith with strength beyond.

The changes were slow and did not quite go
As far as I hoped they would.
I still need repairs and so many prayers
To have self-esteem that's good!
