Analysis of Hell
Valiantstar 1961 (Sydney)
I drifted into hell thinking it was a game.
Young and impressionable:
Not laying any blame.
Good times were had...
Sex+drugs=fun...
But little did I know
The fix had begun.
Devouring
My
Substance
I couldn't see an end
This needle had me:
The most loyal friend.
Like a love sick fool:
I came back again, and again.
Many times it had killed me
But I couldn't say no
The demon had caught me
His spirit on show.
But somehow you saved me you answered their prays.
Plucked from the embers, by your tender hands.
Bandaged and nourished until I was strong.
Now 30 years later your life is my song.
