Analysis of Across the Angry Sky

The wind was blowing and was showing
A strength I seldom see.
I thought each cloud was very loud
When lightning hit near me!

I was just eight, but I did wait
And watched the angry sky,
As clouds would blast the thunder fast
And leaves did surely fly.
