Analysis of On Second Thought
My first thought was that you are nice
So many weeks ago.
You even gave me good advice
That helped this poet grow.
I then thought I could count on you
And those who read about
My past and all that I went through,
But now I'm filled with doubt.
Instead of kind words you once gave,
I'm hurt to now admit
Our friendship found an early grave
When you said, "Get over it!'
