Analysis of Nervous Energy

I do have nervous energy.
That's what my teacher said of me
In Junior High School class one day.
I never knew I was that way.

I guess it was my way to cope;
The walk across my life's tightrope,
Which happened every day at school
So, it became a calming tool.

Since then, I've learned that I must trust
That God will help me to adjust
To things that I cannot control.
I need His help to fill each hole.
