Analysis of Salvation for Zion
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Listen to me who seek the Lord,
You have to pursue righteousness;
If you remain in one accord,
The Father will definitely bless.
Look at the rock that you were hewn,
Where you were dug from the quarry;
Temptations you are not immune,
Confession shows you are sorry.
Look unto those who did bore you,
For they were the ones who had called;
Raised and instructed to be true,
But you wound up becoming flawed.
For the Lord will comfort Zion,
He comforts all her waste places;
Like cubs guarded by the lion,
The Lord will shine His good graces.
Her desert is like a garden,
Gladness will be found within her;
Her wilderness is like Eden,
The voice of song will then occur.
