Analysis of This is me

Alexandra Byrd 1986 (Hampton)

This is me
Can you deal with the uncertainty
Of the things that come with me
Or the possibility of having to change or be something you don't want to be
Just to please me and my needs
I try to make it easy but it seems to get harder
No matter what I do to change it always seem to stay the same
I give my apologies for not taking things seriously
And everything I do just seem like I'm throwing darts aimlessly
And my apologies aren't accepted they just seem meaningless to me
But maybe one day you'll see what you mean to me
Because at the end of the day
You will see that THIS IS ME
