Analysis of Beneath the Devil's Cloak

The spark became a fire
Just because of sad neglect,
Which animals could smell and see
Because of its effect.

The clouds will surely gather
And the tears will surely fall,
When slowly every blaze moves on
Destroying homes of all!

How many trees and animals
Must lose so much in smoke,
Along with people homes as well
Beneath the devil's cloak?
