Analysis of Personally Responsible
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
The way of the Lord is not just,
You are not just in your own ways;
Consider the fact that you lust,
Desires that a person strays.
When a righteous man turns away,
From righteousness to injustice;
He shall die for going astray,
Doing an immoral practice.
When wicked men turn from evil,
They must do what is just and right;
And renounce acts of the devil,
For starting to walk in the light.
They must turn from their transgression,
No longer shall they cheat or lie,
As they pray make a confession,
Commit their faith so they won’t die.
The way of the Lord is not just,
As with your own ways are unfair;
But if you put your faith and trust,
He answers to honor your prayer.
