Analysis of Koi fish

Circling in a pond
My colours oh so true
The light fading away as the night turns me blue
The shade of the lilies
The water mirrors you
Watch me swim around and ‘round
I’m a koi fish, nothing to do

About this poem

It’s a poem about a koi fish. It’s a pretty simple poem I wrote in hopes to make the kids I tell it to smile. And although it may not have a deep meaning like many others, it’s still a beautiful poem.
