Analysis of When Valentines Don't Come
I know that I do not do well
In making friends inside my shell
Which I can't leave behind.
But does the world fulfill a need
In making sure I don't succeed
With what won't leave my mind.
How could I when the phone won't ring
Nor when the mailman does not bring
A valentine to me.
I don't stand out, it's obvious.
I'm socially superfluous
In my invisibility.
