Analysis of When We Praise God

When we praise God, we show we care
About our Lord and King.
It really helps to know just where
Our thoughts should go with love and care
To deal with everything.

Our praise will also help us show
That problems aren't as bad
As we first thought they were and know
How worry only helps them grow
But praise can make us glad.

If our thoughts are real negative
And words of ours seem mad,
There's more to life that we can give
To help enjoy the life we live
When praise makes God quite glad!
