Analysis of The Palestinian Child
The Palestinian Child
walks gingerly through ruins,
no parent in sight
only ruins of a city,
which once thrived
The world watches on
and little mercy for the Palestinian child remains,
The world watching a war
only God knows who will survive
Political speeches abound,
yet no-one raises the flag of peace
peace is not a state of beings
its simply an adjective
thrown around from time to time.
