Analysis of Tell Me Why
If I hadn't seen you last night
having fun with him
and trying to make it nice for you,
I might still trust you blindly.
Tell me why you're crying
and why are you lying to me
that you don't want to be with him,
go freely, I'm not defending you.
Go with him and be happy,
don't let your heart yearn for me,
give him a home, children and happiness,
what I may not have.
