Analysis of Effectual Prayer
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
I write these things for who believes,
In the name of the Son of God;
For eternal life one receives,
Confessing where they have been flawed.
For it is truly confidence,
That we will be having toward Him;
According to an acceptance,
Hearing joy brings spiritual vim.
If we know He hears what we ask,
We know what we have requested;
No matter whatever the task,
His response will be suggested.
If you see someone commit sin,
That is not leading them to death;
Ask them confession to begin,
Pray for God to give them new breath.
All wrongdoing will lead to sin,
But not all to death will it lead;
Because the corruption within,
Will be cleansed that Jesus did bleed.
We know all who were born of God,
Will not continue in sinning;
By worship to honor and laud,
Over evil, they are winning.
We are from God and the world lies,
Earth controlled by the evil one;
But God has opened up your eyes,
Being protected by His Son.
We know the Son of God was here,
Has given us understanding;
The truth as to that we revere,
What the Father is commanding.
We have eternal life through Christ,
And avoid any other gods;
Never let yourself be enticed,
By any idols that are frauds.
