Analysis of They Hide, You Seek

Her wrists are clear,
no need to fear,
her arms are fine,
so why should she whine,
her scars are old,
well that's what you're told,
she has what is a blur,
it's hidden deep within her.

She looks at you, but doesn't get,
how you can forget, that she can threat,
you don't see, because you don't look,
sometimes you can't see it all in a book,
she cries a lot, but you don't see,
all she wants, is someone to turn the key,
everyday she hides it all,
and doesn't let anyone see her fall.

She has no marks,
no need for sparks,
you don't see her cry,
so why should you spy,
she's fine she says,
well that's her ways,
she wants the help,
but it's hard for her to yelp.

Not all scars can be seen,
just because they don't make a scene.
Not all wounds are on the skin,
in the mirror it's like looking at a twin.
Not all illnesses are noticed,
it's like living in their own protest.
Not all self-harm is cutting,
it's not just about getting a knife and imputing.
