Analysis of Could This Be Our Second Chance (Bussokusekika))

Edwin Tanguma 1966 (CA)

Could This Be Our Second Chance   (Bussokusekika)

I’m  no longer yoked
By the scriptures to my wife
I have set her free
She may now do as she wills
I too believe that I’m free
Could this be our second chance

About this poem

Maybe my signet seal is a figment of my imagination…You may think about what I am trying to offer you…It may not be very much…I am a very poor man financially…And I have not made a single penny from any of my poems…I don’t feel nor believe that I ever will…Some movie character once stated, “I know what love is”…I don’t know IF I will ever marry again…I guess that all depends IF I meet the right woman…I don’t know how you feel about me at this moment in time Jenny…Who knows what the future may hold for us…I’ll try to visit the old olive tree tomorrow around opening time…Who knows???IF it is our fate to meet there so be it…IF not…You know my worldly name and IF you ever feel that you’d like to spend some alone time me I will be more than willing to share my tent with you…You may search the Culberson County CAD records…I can’t promise you the world…But I do believe happiness just may be a possibility…There are a few loose ends I am trying to tie up here…But we could always try to talk about things if we do meet face to face in future…
