Analysis of My Highway Signs
Some say that life's a highway and
I also think it's true
Because some signs show life is planned
With patches old and new.
Some signs will warn me what's ahead
And when I must slow down.
If I ignore the signs I've read,
I will do more than frown!
Each bump and pothole that I find
Remind me of just how
Life can be rough if in your mind
Your thoughts aren't here and now!
At destination I'll prefer
To thank you one and all
For patience while improvements were
Abundant and not small.
