Analysis of I never saw the trees
I never saw the trees
Until you described them fare
I once cut one down
And worse
There was no prayer
I saw branch, you saw a face nod
I saw a leaf you saw grief ahead
I saw canopy you saw eternity
I never saw the trees
Only the obstacle that teased
Now I see
Sometimes I'm the tree
