Analysis of Christmas in the Woods

The Autumn days had seen a fire
In Crowley's Ridge State Park.
There were heroics that inspire
When fire came from a spark.

A small group of some large black bears
Heard crying from the west.
When they arrived, they saw two pairs
Of baby cougars stressed.

They cried some more for fear of fire,
So, all the bears made sure
The cougars were moved from the dire
Location where they were.

Old Santa Claus knew all about
The bears and their concern,
So, he decided he would shout
For them to have a turn

At being treated with gifts on
This Christmas Eve although
It's rare for Santa Claus near dawn
To gift some bears below.

The came to him when each one heard
Their name was called that night.
When they arrived, they spoke no word,
The gifts were such a sight!

Then Santa spoke to them and said,
"I thank you for each cub you saved!
You saved them all and then you fed
Each one and so behaved

With love so I have brought to you
Some gifts to show how much
Such deeds and other things you do
Give much to lives you've touched!"
