Analysis of A Never Ending Summer

Edwin Tanguma 1966 (CA)

A Never Ending Summer

I would like to meet you there
In the land of endless sunshine
Where we could be together
Through the long trying winters
We can share with each other
And create many calicos
That we’d paint with loving care
So that all of the world might know
The truth of the matter is
We were never really crazy
As many people have thought
We were only chasing after
A never ending summer
That would last the rest of our lives
In a place that we both love
Under an electric sky

P.s.Now is this Rot 10 or what?
And is it painted with care?

About this poem

From the dark years collection…thru and thru…I wonder if anyone made any cash after plagiarizing “Like a bolt of lightening” I heard a rumor it was a very acclaimed line…Oh well…And how do you feel about lightening my love???
