Analysis of Wisp
Joe Strickland 1986 (Hobbysville, SC)
love,
an elusive specter,
a wisp of smoke,
floating
in the vast expanse,
disappearing with a blink,
ungraspable,
intangible,
a phantom that haunts,
stirs the soul
yet often
leaves us
empty-handed.
