Analysis of Feeling To Do Better

Feeling I can do better,
Than what was my best.
With less effort endeavored.
As if felt I could,
Produce to achieve more.
Without sleep or rest to get.
Like an electric switch,
To turn off and back on.
Whenever I wished to do it.
Only to be awakened,
By the sound of snoring done.
Then to sit up in bed,
Looking for someone not there but me.
Feeling I can do better to get rest.
Than what I thought I had been doing,
When I closed my eyes.
To wonder why,
What makes thunder roar...
Sometimes before lightning strikes.
And at other times when lightning strikes,
No thunder is heard at all.

'Do you ever wonder about that?'

'Nooo...
I do not.
But what I do wonder about,
Is why you snore so loud.
To wake me up before you wake yourself up.
Then look at me staring at you.
While you ask me if I heard someone snoring.'

'I can't sleep peacefully.
You have any suggestions?'

'Well...
Maybe drinking a cup of hot tea.
With honey and lemon with some Brandy.
Could assist in helping you get more sleep.'

'I don't drink tea.'

'How about a glass of wine?'

'What kind do you like?
What is your preference?'

'Then drink a bottle of beer.
And when you begin to feel sleepy,
Go to bed.'

'At what time?'

'I have a better idea.
Why don't I drug the beer.
Without you knowing what time it is.
And I'll make lightning and thunder sounds.
Just to make sure,
You will never hear anyone snoring again.
For the rest of your life.'

'Or...
Smothering you.
Accidently, of course.'

'Is it that bad?'

'Look at these bags under my eyes.
They appear as if I've packed,
To take a trip somewhere.'

Is that why I find you awake.
Planning to do something behind my back?'

'IM NOT GETTING ANY SLEEP.
IM NOT GETTING ANY SLEEP AT ALL!'

I was just joking.
Maybe we should take a vacation.
And spend our time relaxing.'

'How about we slept in separate rooms.
And had sex whenever that was a necessity!'
