Analysis of Keep Your Faith
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Where does one go.
When traveling on a long dead-end road.
Where does one go.
And running out of gas.
Much too fast!
Where does one go.
Not to have a map.
Or no one to ask.
Where should they go...
To find the nearest opened road.
Already passed not to know it missed!
These are times that come to depend on Jesus.
These are times that come to depend on God!
Where does one go.
When faith to keep it,
Leaves them in despair.
Where does one go.
Where does one go.
Where does one go.
These are times,
One should depend on Jesus.
These are the times,
One should depend on the Lord!
Faith to keep,
Seldom will leave the believer.
Faith to keep it,
With more there to spare.
And these are the times,
One should depend on Jesus.
These are the times,
To come to depend on God!
Faith to keep,
Never leaves one alone.
No matter the times to come.
Depend on Jesus.
Keep your faith.
Never to abandon.
Faith to keep.
Never to abandon.
Keep your faith.
In the Lord!
No matter what comes,
And tries to take your peace away.
Keep your faith.
Never to abandon.
Faith to keep.
Never to abandon...
In the Lord!
