Analysis of Not All Gifts Are Wrapped

Some Christmas gifts cannot be found
Beneath a Christmas tree,
Because they are not square or round,
Or any shape to see.

Some Christmas gifts cannot be felt,
Except within the heart.
The shepherds had love as they knelt
And praise they did impart.

The angels gave the gift of song,
Enlightening the soul.
The shepherds felt they did belong
Which was their given role.

The gift of prayer and of time,
Are gifts to name a few;
That like the gifts of hope and rhyme
Are gifts for me and you!
