Analysis of Perplexity of Promises
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Bless all those who joyously shout,
Who walk in the light of the Lord;
Their confidence will not shed doubt,
With countenance of one accord.
They exult in His name all day,
In righteousness He inspires;
From His Word, they will never stray,
Avoiding earthly desires.
For He is the glory of their might,
By His favor are glorified;
Since He turns darkness into light,
And by becoming sanctified.
Our shield belongs to the Lord,
The Holy One of Israel;
Our defense who has restored,
Helping them through any ordeal
