Analysis of Please Stay

A J C 1958 (Swansea, MA)

The moon will go down, and the sun will rise. But it doesn't compare to having you by my side. But I still feel all alone, and I can't find my way home. But I still love you, and I will never leave you alone. I tried everything I knew to make you my own. I know there was something wrong. And I should be strong; your eyes don't lie. I know you have someone else on the side. Can you please stay anyway? Please give me one last kiss from your smooth, sweet lips, and I will go away. But I can never let you go, no matter what you say. I will always be by your side and love you anyway. No matter what you say,
