Analysis of The parental ghost

you were similar to a ghost in my life
i knew the fact: you’re existed
but that’s all, nothing more; than just
time to time heard your voice on the phone.

conversation we had they’re were weird,
the swinging feelings back and forth,
i felt when you spelled out all the stories
that happened in your life before.

it’s like there isn’t “get to know you better”
but nonetheless there still some hidden under wraps
i felt it then
i know it now.

calling you “dad” had a lack of sincerity
my voice did not felt like mine spelling that.
not always though but in times,
i wish i tried saying it more often in my life.

the day we met on the corner of your street-
was like i had all that complete
that crumbled puzzle in my head,
when missing pieces making your silhouette.

i’ve had that not for long
my puzzle being solved, my incompleteness seems be gone
and all at once i had these things
i’ve lost the main one-is you.

and in the instant of a nothing,
the puzzle lost itself idea
and now it’s empty lonely something
and yeah, it’s solved but it’s just pieces
thats craving meaning now the most.
