Analysis of There Could Come More
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
There could come more,
Opportunities for all to choose.
To live peacefully.
There should come more,
Prayers to say them.
And mischievous misdeeds,
Left behind to permanently leave.
There could be more,
Consciousness and common sense used.
Although many these days seem to prefer,
The soliciting of stupidity sold to buy.
On every knocked door.
Opened wide to welcome inside.
Expressing this outside as if to pride it!
Successfully.
And there could come more.
To spread around and found adored!
