Analysis of Integrity Loss
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Chipping away their own integrity.
They of opportunistic coat-tail riders.
Given positions,
To serve the interests of constituents.
Betrayed and abandoned.
For a selfish need to appear loyal.
To one self serving and ego driven.
With a captivating narcisstic personality.
Known and shown,
Of having thrown many under a bus.
Yet those who wish just optics to get.
Have chosen to admit,
They too could careless...
How history will depict them all,
As representatives misfit for leadership.
Regardless if they achieve notoriety.
To leave and have this forever believed,
For generations to come.
Will have their descendents,
Left proud and tearfully...
Overcomed with unspeakable joy.
For the rest of their embarrassed lives!
