Analysis of End Of The Day

Wesley Rose 1997 (Alliston)

When one prays, two spirits listen
A being with good intention
Who hopes to fulfill your mission
A being who wishes you harm
That will allure you with his charm If your prayers went unanswered
Would you still have faith
Always adhere to the birds And never entertain the snakes

Are we living in hell
And we missed the horns
We missed the signs
For the temporal world distracted our minds
Smoke, drought, and lightning leaves mortals blind
Why would our creator forgive us
He gave us plenty of time
