Analysis of Chrysalis
I am not the same woman I was before you.
She was filled with tangled roots of bitterness,
Distrust,
Resentment.
A woman content in her solitude,
Detached,
Disinterested.
I am not the same woman you once knew.
She was filled with a glorious rush of softness,
Desire,
Love.
A woman you called a goddess,
Passionate,
Devoted.
I am not the same woman you left behind.
She died in that wretched emptiness,
Broken,
Breathless.
A woman you called amazing and also too much,
Abandoned,
Forgotten.
I am a new woman the world has waited to meet.
She now dances with vibrant purpose,
Peacefulness,
Hope.
A woman who still dreams occasionally of Fate,
Destiny,
Soulmates.
