Analysis of Unified Diversity
I’m a prisoner of the Lord,
And walk in a worthy manner;
While being in one accord,
The cross of Christ as a banner.
Humility and gentleness,
Bearing one another in love;
The feeling of His blessedness,
That is flowing from up above.
I endeavor the unity,
The Spirit in the bond of peace;
In avoiding iniquity,
And all the temptation to cease.
There’s one body and one Spirit,
Being called to the one hope;
As I’m looking to inherit,
Until my calling, I will cope.
For there is one faith and one Lord,
One baptism and Father of all;
God, the Word of a two-edged sword,
Over that has and will befall.
Grace has been given to each one,
According to His good measure;
Unto us a gift through His Son,
Our portion of His treasure.
The measure of the gift of Christ,
When He had ascended on high;
As a captive and sacrificed,
Gave us a gift to sanctify.
