Analysis of Poetry

Bryon Poe 1964 (Oregon)

Why do I write poetry?
Words are words.
Poetry is art
Formed with words.

Birds fly.
Birds live and feed and breed,
Then, they die.
Like us, who are in need.

People live and fly in their own way.
Performing meaningful work and deeds.
I live day by day
I look for joy.

Poetry puts me at peace.
Poetry loves contentment.
My life is a comfortable garment.
When I wear it as if nothing will harm it.
