Analysis of the broken toy

i was just a little girl,
a little girl and taking care of you
while u were playing with your toys
I put wall up around you
guarding u from all the hurt
putting ice packs on the wound that weren't meant for me and you

and i still remember that day
you came crying to my room
with two snapped up broken pieces
followed by the sound of boom
boom! the sound of shattered glass
boom! the sound of mom and dad
boom! my heart was broken like the toy t'was once loved by you

i was just a little girl
a little girl and  comforting all of you
while flushing out any of my fears
holding in my tears
for you
baby, it was all for you

after all that's said and done
i guess you're so grown up now
screaming "i wished you never existed"
and "i never wanted a sister"
but oh little baby, if you only knew
the sister you wish you never had
broke her little heart and fixed your toy
just for you
