Analysis of Mystère

Maurice Rollinat 1846 (Châteauroux) – 1903 (Ivry-sur-Seine)

Pourquoi donc rougit la pucelle
En face de l’adolescent ?
Pourquoi ce rire languissant
Et cette allure qui chancelle ?

Qu’est-ce qui mouille l’étincelle
De son beau regard innocent ?
Pourquoi donc rougit la pucelle
En face de l’adolescent ?

Ce vermillon qui la harcèle
Lui vient-il de l’âme ou du sang ?
Est-ce un danger qu’elle pressent ?
Est-ce un désir qu’elle recèle ?
Pourquoi donc rougit la pucelle ?
