Analysis of Nearer to the door
In a haze it falls upon me
In darkness the skies grey
In sorrow the Eagle shouts,
Where is thy works O’Lord?
Where does thou stand?
Forever in the light I wait
Forever far from the darkness
of today.
‘Oh Father, where is my heart ?’
Is it where with my soul
Shall I see through the
death of tomorrow, the dead brought
to life.
Will you lead me out of this darkness
Surely there is a rainbow after the rain or shall it fail to be until the
truth of the mystery is brought out
spreading all that is not of Gods grace.
