Analysis of A Friend
Nancy McDonald 1968 (Blytheville, Arkansas)
So many people give up on life for all the wrong reasons
And feel their only way out sadly is to end it all
Because they have their priorities completely out of order
Which unfortunately causes their downfall
Some look to material things
Which can easily be taken away
While others turn to people
Who can leave them unsatified each and everyday
So if you want somewhere to turn
Where disappointments you will never face
Fall into the arms of Jesus
Where there is always an abundance of love and grace
He will always lift you up
And never let you down
You will always have a friend
When Jesus is around
