Analysis of A Hero Within

A Hero Within

Sometimes one fights
They fight for justice equality and power
Often the fight may be for the rights of others
The question may be asked why?
I do this because I am not selfish
I do this for I consider them too
Those whose rights have been infringed
A mistake has been made, yet there is no one to correct it
I am here presenting myself as correction
Who is it that corrects the mess of big countries?
Who shall defend Africa from her outcry?
Who shall plead for the children of war torn Sudan?
I fight for the rights of many,
Please sing praises for me
I am a hero within

I feel like a pregnant woman
A woman ready for labour
Please help me I'm in pain, for I am about to deliver
This message that I am carrying has never been carried before
This story that I am about to tell has never been told before
The statue that I am about to build has never been built before
The people I am about to represent
Such a people have never been represented before
Sing me praises for this message
I am a hero within

I am a hero within, I was born within,
Please remember my praises are sung by people from within
I've lived long and I believe that when I die
When I die, I will only be a hero to those within
Within me is greater strength
Within me is greater wisdom
Pass my regards to fools
For in wisdom I reign
Within me is power authority and justice
Above all within me is redemption.
I am redemption for my people
I am redemption for the deprived
To the less privileged; I provide support
Please sing me praises
I am a hero a hero within
