Analysis of Ancient Sprite

Reflecting distant sunlight
to Earth with a gentle hand.
The Lady slowly ascends,
as merging shadows disband.

Beams of gold with silver tint,
induce a hypnotic trance.
For this ancient sassy sprite's,
Cupid's muse to song and dance.

Hung high Her exquisite light
shines from an ebony sky.
And there in the black of space,
Her beauty warrants a sigh.

Wild wolves pay Her homage,
howling a melodic tune.
And praise the Queen of night,
while celebrating each full moon.

With Her pitted face and scars,
She imbues hope to dreams.
And some enchanted evenings,
She dances upon sparkling streams.
