Analysis of Disabled Is A Label

Perhaps some would say I am a loser
as I reside in this wheelchair's cold frame,
but their thoughts can follow me down the track
while the finish line's glow waves colours; bright.
Determination settled in these veins
after that car spiralled out of control,
and now, I am an athlete; strong willed pride.

Disabled is a label that flutters
in ignorant winds of society,
laughter accompanies that as I stretch
limits across personality's grin,
perseverance carried me, obstacles
were shattered as I cruised difficulties.
So the next time you catch me in your sight,
please think before you let that pity free.
