Analysis of Heart
Farewell dear friend: keeper of this warm heart,
though sorrow now licks this spirit's design
I shall not forget all the beautiful
times which gathered us into solemn quiet,
nor will I let you bid goodbye without
a kiss from these gentle lips; sweet delight.
In moments of silence there will be your
face to keep me company and to bless
me with the wisdom that ripples throughout
the soul which lightly flutters your kind self.
I pray that God keeps you safe wherever
you travel to and that your journeys are
filled with wondrous imagery; scenery
which not only fascinates, but soothes too.
And if you ever feel the need to speak
with me again, or just feel loneliness
tickling your solitude, please think of me,
do not hesitate to write or find my
number within the clouds of pleasured thought,
or if you should desire, please visit.
Au revoir, auf Wiedersehen, take good care
of yourself, I do not wish any harm
to come to those I love, and love you I do.
Perhaps I will paint your portrait and hang
it in the hallway's warm walk, or maybe
place it above the fireplace where all will
see you inside your soft splendid glory.
My darling, be strong in your quest for peace,
in those times of weakness light a candle
and make a wish, it shall be rewarded.
