Analysis of I Am

I am, therefore I am in a position to love
Not sure how it works with what its meant to be above
But I know how it all works in my mind
I don't need to have faith to know what's kind
And I can see what is really evil too
If I see it would hurt someone, I would not do
Afterlife is fine to spin tales about
I just know all those things I can do without
People doing what their heart tells them is wrong
Hoping it to be undone with a daily song
Shouting that all the others are wrong
Just because they don't sing the same song
I don't claim to have all the answers
But my morals are strong
Maybe this life is only a blur
For me it is still long
Long enough to be taken so very seriously
Not to be based on forces that work mysteriously
 I claim to take responsibility
For everything that I do
Not for the sake of forces heavenly
But just for me and you
