Analysis of Just one thing

I don't write a lot I used to everyday,
It's just that anymore I'm not sure what to say,
If I write about my thoughts or that which I believe,
Many call me crazy or think I wish to deceive,

Nothing could be farther from the truth I try to share,
My only motivation is from that truth I hope to spare,
Subtlety is not my strength, no quite the reverse,
We all must choose the blessings or the curse,

My time left on earth shall be to do one thing,
To lead you to the throne and kneel to the King,
The hours left in our lives shorten each day,
While there is yet breath I will ever pray,

It is my belief much to my grief that time is near the end,
So forgivre me now if I somehow have managed to offend,
Yet my urgency grows like no one knows I can no longer just be still,
I know not all will answer His call but I am here for those that will.

Troy Kaneer

I have been writing for about 20 years. Found I could rhyme a little and still say something. Was led to use this for the Glory of God and His Son my Saviour. I do write some personal poems but it seems that God gets in those too. It is appropriate though because He is my life. more…
